About Us

Skyliners rosters skaters from the tri-state area and is extremely proud of its ability to attract competitors from such a large region. Formed in 2001 as a parent-owned organization the team has rapidly gained both local and national recognition. 2006-2007 was an extremely successful sixth season for the Skyliners Synchronized Skating Teams, with our junior team’s gold medal at the Eastern divisional championships, and the impressive performance of all our teams all season.  For the second year in a row, we were the only team in the tri-state area to send three lines to the National championships.  We placed sixth in the nation across juvenile, novice and junior, and first place in the country for our junior short program.  In addition USFS awarded the International Reserve Envelope to our junior team who will represent the US in Zagreb, Croatia in mid-March, 2008.

The current season (2007-2008) is proving to be even better – as our teams continued the summer camp tradition and additional weekly practices that were implemented in 2006. We again have a Beginner line, as more and more skaters and families are expressing interest in joining our organization at younger ages.

The Skyliners organization is extremely proud of the accomplishments of its teams. Our skaters have gained a solid understanding of teamwork and commitment, constantly improving synchronized skating skills and great enthusiasm for the sport! We are already excited about the seasons to come. With our extraordinary coaches and the support of the Windy Hill Figure Skating Club, the Skating Club of New York and our parents, the skaters will continue to attain their best.
